When staying at Hotel Opera you live right in the city center of Gothenburg, close to the Central Station and with good shopping streets, entertainment, culture and around every corner. There are always things to do – both at the hotel and in the hotel’s vicinity.

Check-in and check-out

You are welcome to check in after 3.00 pm on the day of your arrival. Check-out is before noon on the day of departure.


Parking is available close by, at garage P-hus Nordstan for SEK 180 / day. You purchase the parking ticket at Hotel Opera’s front desk.


A warm welcome to our restaurant Angelini, where we serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast is included in your stay. You are of course very welcome to enjoy our generous breakfast even if you’re not a guest at the hotel, for SEK 175 / person. Our breakfast is served between 6.30 – 10.00 am on weekdays and between 7.00 – 11.00 on weekends. Should you have an early departure you can order our breakfast bag B Fast to bring with – contact front desk the day before.

Lunch is served weekdays, SEK 125 / person, consisting of a salad buffet, soup, bread, mineral water or light beer, coffee with something sweet, plus a warm meal where you can choose between fish, meat or vegetarian.

Dinner is served in the evenings, from Mondays to Saturdays. You can order dinner with a starter, main course and a dessert from a well composed and exciting À La Carte menu inspired by both American and Italian cuisine.

Next to our restaurant you will find our cozy lounge bar – a place to meet up or just to relax with a coffee or a drink.


Our gym is open to our guests. You will also find a wellness area for recreation with a pool and two saunas. Our wellness area is open weekdays between 3 and 11 pm, and weekends between 8 am and 11 pm. When booking through Ligula.se, telephone or e-mail direct to the hotel the entrence is free of charge. For other guest the entrence is 95 SEK/day or 135 SEK/ two days or more.

We also have a meeting facility that can welcome up to 60 participants in the largest meeting room, and up to 98 participants in the restaurant.
