Ligula Foundation supports Ukraine via UNHCR with a donation of SEK 300 000

Ligula Foundation, a charity founded by the Löffler family, has made an early payment in 2022 to support Ukraine’s vulnerable children and families.

On March 29, 2022, Ligula Foundation donated SEK 300,000 to UNHCR in order to help those in need in Ukraine. Since the Akelius Foundation doubles all Ukraine donations to UNHCR until 31 March, this means that SEK 600,000 will go to Ukraine’s vulnerable children and families via UNHCR.

”We are very happy that we can contribute, the money comes from the bookings made via the website ligula.se where Ligula Hospitality Group donates 10 SEK of each booking to Ligula Foundation, and this is the money that now comes to great benefit, ”says Elisabeth Löffler, who is responsible for Ligula Foundation.

Usually we do not distribute money from Ligula Foundation until the end of the year, but we, like everyone else, are appalled and despairing over the war that is going on in Ukraine, so we decided to make an exception,”concludes Elisabeth Löffler.
