Ligula and the Global Goals
The UN’s global sustainability goals guide Ligula’s sustainability efforts, and by integrating these goals into our operations, we understand the importance of viewing sustainability as a multifaceted issue.
We have identified six goals where our efforts can make a real difference and where we have the greatest potential to drive positive change. These six goals are:
- We ensure that everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, or ethnicity, has equal opportunities for leadership.
- We ensure decent working conditions for all employees through collective agreements.
- We reduce food waste, minimize waste, manage chemicals responsibly, and promote sustainable tourism.
- We combat climate change through climate adaptation, proper waste management, and resource efficiency.
- We only serve fish that is MSC, ASC, or KRAV certified.
- We promote collaboration and shared knowledge through dialogue with industry organizations, suppliers, employees, and guests.
