Explore Erfurt and its surroundings!

As the third largest city and the capital of Thuringia, Erfurt has much to offer. Due to the relatively minor destruction of the infrastructure during World War 2 and the loving conservation and restoration of the buildings over the decades, Erfurt is characterized by its well-preserved medieval city center.

In the Hainich National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2021, you can explore the ancient beech forest through a treetop trail.
