The heart of Motel L Lund is our large lobby, a sign for all our Motel L – here you can mingle, work or have a drink at the bar and look out over the surroundings. When hunger sets in, you can easily buy simpler snacks in our lobby store. At Motel L you sleep really well in a bed from Swedish Carpe Diem. The designed bathrooms are, among other things, equipped with rain shower showers. Of course, all our 251 rooms have both WiFi and the highest standard of ventilation.
Our slogan “More is less” which travesties on Mies Van der Rohe’s classic statement “less is more” is based on the fact that we offer a high-class standard at a favorable price. Motel L in Lund is no exception. Our generous lobby that gives you opportunities to work in a designed and inspiring environment with free access to coffee and tea. We call it “pop up office”. The living room-feeling is there and just like our sister hotels, this is the perfect meeting place with free WiFi for everyone.
For those who want to workout, there is also a well-equipped M-Gym in the hotel.
Lisa Natt och Dag is responsible for large parts of the design together with the architects Krook and Tjäder.
A warm welcome to the new Motel L in Lund!
The Super city area Brunnshög
On October 4, 2019, the new and innovative so-called super city area Brunnshög in Lund was inaugurated. It is estimated that 40,000 people will live, work and study here in the future. Approximately 8,000 researchers per year are expected to visit the district – which will be a new center for materials research. Motel L Lund will therfore be an obvious place for people to meet – both during and after working hours.
