Welcome to Ronnums Herrgård – a peaceful oasis surrounded by greenery and water. Here you will find historical charm, beautiful nature and an environment that invites you to total relaxation.

Ronnums Herrgård is scenically located between Vänersborg and Trollhättan, just an hour from Gothenburg. This historic gem dates back to the 14th century and invites you to a stay filled with tranquility, good food and comfort. Enjoy seasonal dishes in our manor restaurant, relax in the relaxation area with heated outdoor pool, and let the peaceful atmosphere envelop you.

With proximity to hiking trails, golf courses and swimming in Lake Vänern, there are plenty of opportunities for activity – whether you are traveling as a couple, family or for work. Ronnum is a place to look forward to, all year round.

Food and drink

In our restaurant, the food is cooked from scratch with seasonal ingredients and local roots. The menus offer classic Swedish flavors with international influences, and our wine cellar is filled with carefully selected wines. Our large breakfast buffet with homemade bread and homemade granola is served daily, and the manor’s lunch can be enjoyed every weekday.

Things to do in the area

Ronnum’s location between Halle and Hunneberg opens up for nature experiences such as moose and beaver safaris, hiking and cycling. Take a dip at Nordkroken’s bathing area, play mini golf in Vänersborg or visit Trollhättan’s waterfalls, locks and museum. The reception is happy to help with tips, maps and bookings.

The manor has a relaxation area with sauna, gym and a heated outdoor jacuzzi – open all year round. Here you can relax in a peaceful environment and borrow bathrobes and slippers from the reception for a small fee. For those who want to get active, there are also indoor and outdoor board games such as cube, boules, yahtzee and card games.

Meetings and Events

There are meeting rooms for up to 90 people, fully equipped with modern technology. Combine your conference with a wine tasting, activity or quiz. End the day in our outdoor jacuzzi and round off the evening with dinner in our cozy restaurant.

Ronnums Herrgård is also a popular venue for weddings, anniversaries, corporate parties and memorials – with beautiful surroundings and personal care that make each occasion unique.

Here in our suites you have that little extra that makes your stay special. Each suite is unique and has its own charm – such as a separate bedroom and lounge with a sofa group and a private sauna in some of the suites.     The hotel has seven meeting rooms of different sizes – the largest can accommodate up to 90 people. Combine the conference with wine tasting, barbecue evening or one of our many activities. Finish with an outdoor jacuzzi and dinner in our cozy restaurant.

    Our largest room, Ostindiska Salen, can accommodate up to 90 people and is perfect for larger meetings and corporate events as well as parties, weddings and memorials. The room is beautifully decorated with large turn-of-the-century windows, oiled wooden floors and small alcoves with sofa groups.
