Ingela Engqvist new General Manager for Good Morning Sollentuna

Gothenburg, December 2025 – Ligula Hospitality Group welcomes Ingela Engqvist as the new General Manager for the new Good Morning Hotels Sollentuna. With extensive experience in the hotel and restaurant industry – including leadership roles at Scandic Hasselbacken, Scandic Södertälje, and Hotel Birger Jarl – she now takes on the establishment of a completely new hotel in Sollentuna.

Ingela began her journey in the industry at the age of 14 and has since developed a strong passion for guest experiences, leadership, and teamwork. She describes the driving force in her leadership as the desire to create genuine encounters and a culture where employees grow and feel involved.

Being part of opening a new hotel is a dream she has long held. She also highlights Ligula’s short decision-making processes and the company’s charitable initiatives through the Ligula Foundation as important reasons for her choice of employer.

The renovation of the hotel is in full swing and is planned to open in December. Ingela sees the opportunity to shape the business from the ground up as a major strength. Her focus going forward is to build strong local partnerships and create a natural meeting place for the hotel’s guests.

“Our guests should be met with warmth and genuine commitment. The hotel we are building here in Sollentuna will be fresh and modern, a Good Morning hotel 2.0,” says Ingela Engqvist.
