MALENTE, February 2026 – The Ligula Hospitality Group welcomes Jens Mügge as the new Manager of Hotel Dieksee – Collection by Ligula. Since December 15, 2025, he has been responsible for the management of the establishment in Malente, bringing expertise based on decades of industry practice.
Jens Mügge is a hotelier who learned the industry from the ground up. He understands hotels not from theory, but from daily operations. Throughout his career, he has worked in various establishments, successfully led teams, and held responsibility in different positions. This solid foundation significantly shapes his current approach.
“I have always understood hospitality as a craft. You need to know how a hotel fundamentally works to manage it well,” explains Jens Mügge. “In our industry, it is crucial to listen first and understand the circumstances before making decisions.”
For his role at Hotel Dieksee, Jens Mügge has a clear priority: he wants to get to know the existing team and further develop processes together with the employees. He does not rely on radical changes, but on respect for the individual character of the establishment and the people who shape it daily.
Many of the colleagues have known Hotel Dieksee for many years. Mügge sees this long-standing experience as one of the hotel’s greatest strengths.
“A hotel does not thrive on concepts alone, but on the people who take responsibility every day,” he says. “I see my task as creating the right framework conditions to make that possible.”
Hotel Dieksee – Collection by Ligula impresses with its tranquil location directly on the water and its personal atmosphere. Jens Mügge aims to preserve this identity while carefully introducing new impulses to further enhance the attractiveness of the location. His goal is to use the existing foundation as a solid basis for future development.
