The first hotel at this location opened as early as the 1920s. At that time, the area was teeming with small hotels in the bustling Klara district. The building actually housed several smaller hotels for many years. Much has changed since then. The building has been renovated but remains in one of the few blocks that survived the demolition of the Klara district in the 1950s.
Since 2002, the hotel has been ProfilHotels Central. Larger than the hotel cluster of the 1920s – but still a smaller hotel in a city otherwise dominated by large chains. Here, the atmosphere is more personal, the pace a little calmer, and the welcome always warm.
